COV Mini Royal Hunter RDA Review June 10, 2017 By: Lawrence Lee 0 Do you want to get into rebuildable dripping atomizers (RDA)? Are you looking for the best RDA to use to learn about rebuildable atomizers? The Council of Vapor Mini Royal Hunter RDA could be just the atty you are looking for. While the Mini Royal Hunter has been on the market for some time now, it is still a highly-rated RDA. It is lightweight, it looks great on most mods, and it is very easy to use. The COV Mini Royal Hunter RDA is a smaller version of the popular Royal Hunter RDA. It is made of aluminum, brass, and stainless steel. Not only is the Mini Royal Hunter smaller than its predecessor, but it also has a redesigned airflow system. Like other products from The Council of Vapor, the Mini Royal Hunter RDA has a splendid design. Not only does it appear elegant, but you will also find a photographic instruction manual in the package that shows you how to use the RDA. The manual talks about everything from fixing coils to setting up the RDA on your mod. While the information presented in the manual is detailed, it is advisable to do further research about how RDAs work before using the Mini Royal Hunter if you are completely new to this. The COV Mini Royal Hunter RDA has a dimension of 21.9mm by 22mm and weighs 28g. It can, therefore, fit most mods on the market. There is a silver-plated 510 connection screw at the base of this RDA for attaching it to a mod. The Mini Royal Hunter is designed with a Delrin wide bore drip tip that has a honeycomb structure in it to prevent spit back. This is important because of the relatively short build of this RDA. However, because of this honeycomb design, you have to remove the top cap of the RDA before you can drip e-liquid on your coil and wick. An extra drip tip is included in the package. Both drip tips have different colors; white and black. Therefore, you can choose which best suits the mod that you’re using. The only con with this setup is that you cannot use your own 510 drip tip with this atty. It does not come with a drip tip adapter for that purpose. As stated earlier, the COV Mini Royal Hunter RDA has a different airflow system from its predecessor. It has an adjustable triple slot and triple hole airflow design. You can choose to close only the triple holes and leave the slots open, or you can close them all. You can open and lock the airflow holes by turning the drip tip. The short length of the COV Mini Royal Hunter RDA means it will allow you enjoy the flavor of your e-juice to the max. Depending on the resistance of your coil and the wattage you’re vaping, the Mini Royal Hunter could also be used for cloud chasing. The Mini Royal Hunter RDA has a wide T-post style deck with a 2.5mm well underneath the coil which is important to avoid spilling your e-juice. It will also allow you soak up your wicking material with e-juice properly. You can use either a single or dual coil setup with this RDA. Grub screws are used to attach the coil to the post. If you know anything about The Council of Vapor, then you know that they make premium products. The Mini Royal Hunter RDA is no exception. You can get the COV Mini Royal Hunter at about $34.99. You can get this RDA from any top vape store. It comes in blue, black, green, red, stainless steel and white.
