Vapir No2 Herb Vaporizer Review

By: Lawrence Lee

The No2 was billed as a revolutionary dry herb vaporizer when it hit the market a couple of years ago. Although many new vaporizers have hit the market since its release, the No2 is still highly rated. It says a lot about this product that Vapir decided to release a follow-up billed as the No2. Version 2.

You can get the No2 and other Vapir devices from any top vape store. No2 is priced at about $119 on most sites, but you can get it on Ejuice Pack for only $102.34.

The Vapir No2 is neither a vape pen nor an ego-style device. It deserves a category of its own. This vaporizer looks very much like a water bottle. If you see someone hiking with the No2 in his or her hand, you would not think twice that it is a water bottle. Some people have also noted that the shape of this device is similar to that of a microphone. However, I think it looks more like a water bottle than a microphone. It does feel like a microphone in your hands; it is well rounded, and it has easily accessible control buttons.

To add to the water bottle appearance, the vaporizer comes with a glass and plastic straw-like tube as well as an X-tip mouthpiece. You can use the tube and the mouthpiece to get cooler vapor. Since the mouthpiece of the device is located directly above the heating chamber, you will get warm vapor when you are vaping at high temperatures.

The heating chamber of the Vapir No2 is made of high-grade stainless steel and pure brass. To access this chamber, you simply need to unscrew the top cap off. The heating chamber is not very large. Vapir recommends filling the chamber until it is ¾ full. If you put too much herb in the chamber, it will affect the airflow of the device.

The No2 vaporizer comes with a removable Lithium-Ion battery. The battery door is located under the device. The device supports pass-through so you can vape while it is charging. It even comes with a car charger so you can power up in your car. It takes about 4 to 6 hours for the battery to charge. If you want to charge the device quickly, you can buy an external charger. The battery life of this device is not so bad. You can chain vape on it for up to an hour before you will need to recharge. It is easy to monitor the battery life from the LCD screen on the device. The screen also shows the temperature of the device. You can choose to view the temperature in Fahrenheit or Celsius. The device automatically stores the temperature that you have selected each time you turn it off. So when you turn it back on, it will display that same temperature.

You will not spend a lot of time learning how to use the Vapir No2. To turn the device on, you need to slide the on/off switch on the side of the device. When you do that, the LCD screen will come on. Next, you need to set your desired temperature and press the red power button to heat up the vaporizer. When the device is heating up, a red LED light will appear above the LCD screen. It takes just one minute for this vaporizer to heat up. The red light will change to green after you leave it to heat up. Once you see the green light, you can open the mouthpiece and load your herb. The recommended temperature range for using this device is 375 to 385 degrees Fahrenheit. Vapir has provided a list of the recommended temperature range for vaping popular herbs like tobacco, sage, peppermint, and more.

One of the most common complaints about the No2 vaporizer is that once you heat it and start vaping, the device will continue getting heated and the vapor will escape even if you are not using it. This vaporizer has an automatic shut-off feature, but it is only activated after 20 minutes. You can easily stop the heating process by red power button located under the screen. When the click it, the red/green LED light will go off.

The Vapir No2 vaporizer comes with a one year warranty. You need to register the device with the company to be covered by the warranty.
